Electro Fusion Welding Machines
Electrofusion Welding Machine
Electrofusion welding machine is a device used to weld two plastic pipes or hoses together. It is an electrical device. This process is carried out by an electrolysis reaction created on the inner surfaces of the pipes. The electrofusion welding machine consists of two main parts:- Welding head: It is the part that performs the welding process.
- Power supply: It is the part that provides electricity to the welding head.
How Does an Electrofusion Welding Machine Work?
Electrofusion welding process is a process used to weld two plastic pipes or hoses together. is the method. This process is carried out by an electrolysis reaction created on the inner surfaces of the pipes. The electrofusion welding process consists of the following steps:- The pipes to be welded are cleaned and degreased. This is important for the welding process to occur properly.
- The welding head is attached to the ends of the pipes. The welding head has a size suitable for the inner surfaces of the pipes.
- The welding head is connected to the power source. The power supply provides the electrical current required to perform the welding process.
- The electrode inside the welding head initiates the electrolysis reaction on the inner surfaces of the pipes. The electrolysis reaction causes the formation of a polymer film on the inner surfaces of the pipes.
- As a result of the electrolysis reaction, the polymer film formed on the inner surfaces of the pipes fuses the pipes together.
